How crazy is your idea? Do you go forward and prove that your crazy idea has all the makings of a success future? History is littered with tons of success stories that started out as a crazy idea which people laughed and mocked from the start.

Let’s take Bill Gates whose vision of computer in every desk was a ridiculous idea where brightest and top management of IBM found crazy (we all know what happened next after that).

How about Ebay’s start of selling pesticides in the web which morphed into one of the biggest marketplace in the world?

For a full five minutes I decided to scan through my unread mails filed in categories that doesn’t need my immediate attention. One mail dated June 1, 2004 caught my eyes (Phew! it sat in my inbox for two years already. I almost always skip forwarded messages and filed them for later reading).

Anyways, the mail is titled:

Increase my Productivity!

I have talked about the power of goals and how important it is to achieve your dreams and aspirations in life.

Before you think about the big picture you should remember that small things is vital to achieving big goals. In my day job I worked as an IT professional after studying four years in college and hopping from one company to another gaining the experience I need to reach where I am today.

War for Talent

Since I graduated back in 2000 I have signed with six different companies and have worked with five of them; meaning I transferred from one company to another.

Was it difficult at first?

It was difficult and tiring and initially scary because finding a job is hard and stressful.

How come I managed to move from one company to another?

I did not look for the job but I positioned myself for the job to look for me. Technically speaking I did submit my resumes initially but after that job hunters and companies kept on calling even three to four years after.
